**Please keep in mind that greyhounds are large dogs and that young children should never be left unsupervised with them. We do not make it a practice to adopt to families wiht children under 7 years of age due to the fact that although greyhounds are gentle and loving creatures, sudden movements or unintentional roughhousing with the greyhound can make any dog snap as a warning. Also, the potential of escape through an open door in a home with small children can mean a lost greyhound. If you still wish to discuss children and greyhounds, please submit your application. Thank you.**
